TerminatorX v2 can block chat applications including web-based chat, block Yahoo Messenger, block AIM Messenger, block MSN Messenger, block Web Messengers, block LimeWire, block emule, block myspace, Block YouTube, block gambling sites, block Skype & Inernet phones - there are over 220 choices available.
If a selected (see the picture) chat site or program is started by a student or employee, it is shut down. Selecting which programs to stop is as easy as ticking a box during setup. Future nuisance programs can be added to TerminatorX's database when they start being a problem.
Students and employees are unaware that TerminatorX is operating - they just can't use the banned programs and web sites.

You can see out who is trying to use blocked chat sites and program, or anything else that you have chosen to ban. TerminatorX Monitor (a free add-on to TerminatorX) lists any programs or web sites that have been shut down. These are shown on a computer located anywhere on your network - for example an Administrator's workstation. The details are shown in 'real time' as the attempts are made. Clicking a list entry provides additional details. TerminatorX Monitor can be set to save the details in a .CSV (comma separated values) file which can be opened and viewed in Excel.
