Making TerminatorX show a warning message when users misbehave

Although most system administrators prefer that TerminatorX just block banned programs, it is possible to make TerminatorX show a warning message to the user whenever an attempt is made to access and banned web sites or programs.

When an application is shut down by TerminatorX and there is a file called warning.txt in the same folder that TerminatorX was run from, the text in that file will be displayed for a set number of seconds on the screen.

Note that:

A typical plain text warning.txt file might contain:

title:Breach of conduct codes
time:15
A breach of the student rules of conduct has been detected.

File sharing and chat applications are not allowed on school computers.

You have been warned!!!!

The first two lines are optional, but if present the first provides the window title bar text (see picture) which must appear after the letters title:

The second line, if present gives the time in seconds to display the warning message for and the number must follow the letters time:

Using the warning.txt content as given above would result in the user being shown:

Picture of typical warning message

The main area contains the text provided in the main section (line 3 onwards) of the warning.txt file and can be changed to suit the code of conduct of the company or school . The picture above was captured with 5.8 seconds to go of the 15 seconds display time.

At the present time, no additional formatting is possible for the display.

If you want TerminatorX to run in silent mode - no warning, just closing the application - then do not provide a warning. txt file and no warnings will be shown.
