New features of TerminatorX 2.0

New features include:

  • A much larger and more up-to-date selection of applications and web sites that you can choose to ban or allow. Selection is just by ticking the boxes as in version 1.

New sections include auction sites, web mail, internet phones, key logging and stealth programs, pornography sites, warez sites, downloads, sports news and casino sites. As before, you can add new programs or web sites and you can select whether to ban individual items or not.

  • You can now choose to have the details of any applications or web sites that TerminatorX detects and blocks displayed in real time on a remote network administrator’s or technician’s workstation. You can monitor prohibited access from a distance and contact user’s accordingly:

TerminatorX Monitor lets you see who is accessing banned programs and web sites

  • Instant removal of banned web sites and programs from the screen - much quicker than with version 1.0

  • You can choose to display a warning message on the user’s screen which stays there for a specified number of seconds. The title and content of the message is chosen by you:

Optional warning messages if the employees access banned material

  • If TerminatorX blocks something that should be allowed, you can add the name and window title of that application or web site to an 'Exceptions' section. TerminatorX will not close them down, while still blocking the ones that you wish to block.

  • Easier addition of new programs and web sites.

  • Resolution of the ‘visibility in Task Manager’ problem of version 1 .
